Simple past - negative form
Precisamos usar o auxiliar ''didn't'' + verbo na forma base (didn't = did not)
- I didn't sleep well last night.
- My mother didn't cook dinner last Monday.
- Paul didn't go to church on Sunday.
Simple past - affirmative form
- verbos regulares: são os verbos que terminam em ''-ed'' quando estão no passado. Ex.: visited - travelled - worked - washed - studied, etc.
- verbos irregulares: são os verbos que terminam de forma diferente no passado. Eles não seguem nenhuma regra e cada verbo irregular faz o passado de uma forma diferente. Exemplos:
- bring (trazer) - brought
- do (fazer) - did
- make (fazer) - made
- go (ir) - went
- teach (ensinar) - taught
- think (pensar) - thought
