Quando você faz uma frase usando THERE IS é pra UM objeto ou pessoa, é no afirmativo. No interrogativo, é dito ao contrario, IS THERE. Já no negativo, é dito THERE IS NOT, ou, abreviado, THERE ISN' T.
Quando você faz uma frase usando THERE ARE é pra 2 OU + objetos ou pessoas, é no afirmativo. No interrogativo, é dito ao contrario, ARE THERE. Já no negativo, é dito THERE ARE NOT, ou, abreviado, THERE AREN' T.
